Accreditation
eLearn to Sail by Mail courses are designed for recreational sailors. They are specifically targeted at people who like the self-paced, online learning approach. The courses complement and encourage ongoing regular sailing at a recreational, social and club racing level. eLearn to Sail by Mail courses are also designed for first time yacht owners who would like to understand the basic theory of sailing whilst gaining experience on their own yacht with family and friends.
eLearn to Sail by Mail will keep assessment records if our participants wish to do so. We will do this so that we can assess the effectiveness of our courses and to provide certificates of completion.
People wishing to enter the marine industry or those that would like official recognition of their learning as a sailor, should consider courses offered by Yachting Australia and the Royal Yachting Association.
