eLearn to Sail by Mail

Jim Orrell started Learn to Sail by Mail in 1993, and as the name suggests, delivered sailing theory courses and assessments via post. His aim was to write courses that specialised in the flexible delivery of the theory components of yachting in Australia. Jim has over 40 years sailing experience and holds the qualifications of AYF Yachtmaster Instructor, Master Class V (Ret), and V.E.T. Cert IV.

Learn to Sail by Mail has transformed into eLearn to Sail by Mail. Jim's courses have been updated and now include learning materials that reflect the needs of 21st Century learners. The eLearn to Sail by Mail site is constantly evloving, so keep an eye on it for the latest developments.
